Hai Pawan,
Thanks for ur reply but he doesnt have any of those documents.
He was paid by a cheque and no appointment letter was given to him during his joining.
And now he want to apply to a govt job where he have to submit past experience certi.
Hi Ratan,
Thanks for your reply.
The problem is his employer is not in good terms with him because he left that school.
It was a small school where things are not that professional. So they had not given him any appointment letter or salary slips.
Thanks & Regards,
Vinay

Hello Friends,
One of my friend was working as teacher in a primary school(private) from last 2year.
His conduct during work tenure was excellent but he was underpaid.
He is an ambitious guy and for his career growth he changed his job.
He is having some good opportunities in his hand but his previous employer is not providing him experience certificate.
Please suggest me some steps to resolve this issue.
* How to get his experience cetrificate from his previous employer?
* Can he seek any legal assistance? If yes then whom to approach?
With regards,
Vinay
Hi Vinay,
As far as my knowledge is concerned there is no obligation on the part of the employer to give a Experience certificates. However your friend may give a request letter in written for the same. As far as proving his Experience is concerned he may Show the Appointment letter of the Prev Employer and the Relieving letter.

Vinay,
As Pawan said he can get the bank statement and that depicts his tenure. Or he can give professional references. Some one who is working as a permanent teacher over there or someone who has been with the school for a longer tenure then he is. If they can sign on a paper which says he has been working with the school for XYZ years and provide personal identification that would suffice.
And yes, but he will not be able to get a certification if he is not on a pay-roll as i assume he is not as he is not given an appointment letter and he did not get his pay slip.
Good luck to your friend.

Forgive my ignorance , is there not some sort of providence in terms of income tax by the school? Form 16 or 16 A is it? Can't your friend produce that from along with the payment history as a proof of previous employment?
In the absence of experience certificates he may wish to declare it in a supporting statement along with the application form. If I were your friend I would clearly mention why I couldn't obtain an experience certificate, the name and address of the employer in the supportung statement , send a copy of that statement to school. So, the school can expect what's coming, and the prospective employer can call up the school and check.
Perhaps he can add a recommendation letter from a senior employee of the school!
