Hi,
I have done my MBA in HR ( Corsp) and was working with an MNC on contract. I was into the post recruitment activities - rolling out job offers and hiring the new joinees and taking care of joining formalities. Due to recession fell layoff from the concern. I tried hard to get a break in HR but didnt get one, because of lack of experience and not having a full time MBA. Most of them feel the distance education is of no use.
now i have to work in a bpo concern to lead a reasonable life. I still have a hope to become a complete hr. i love to learn the hr practises and use them. But i am not getting a chance to do it. I don't know from where to go from here.
I feel i have to stay here and collect all informations for hr and wait for the opportunity to make my hit. I love to know if i need to do something more that would help me find my dream job.
Is there any one who share my feeling..................

If anything come accross to me i will surely inform you.
I agree with you all and its initially very difficult to get a good job of our choice. But one should not lose hope and start cursing ourselves. Definitely the job market is going through a very tough phase and this won't last long if we see the changing trends across the world though slowly but surely this is going to change soon.
Talent, hard work and dedication always pay off and I advise all the aspiring friends to have patience and keep their eyes open to grab the opportunities. Moreover, they should always keep themselves abreast of all latest developments and trends in HR so that they can face the interviews with more confidence to land up in their dream jobs.
Rajesh, if you really want to learn the HR practices do it by sparing some time every day. Please make use of internet effectively by visiting all HR sites like this one to make you more equipped with all latest developments along with actively participating in various discussions in forums on those sites. In addition you can also attend various workshops/seminars which not only help you in brushing up your knowledge but also you can interact with professionals from various organizations so that you can share views and also you will easily get a chance to know about the opportunities elsewhere.
Cheers!
Pradeep
I don't have a MBA degree, but now i am planning to pursue my MBA. But when i applied for jobs, i got many calls. Even i don't have experience in Indian Admin/HR policies. Everything i learned from my job only. Do not hesitate to learn. Now i can set organizations with my work experience.
I suggest you to concentrate on your subject, presentation skills and be with good attitude. Definitely you will be ON.
Just iam sharing my experience here.
Any help feel free to mail me. I will be back at my convinience.
Thanks
