Job Description:-

Responsibilities include: A. Must Have:-



Test Execution- Manual Testing–

Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and some prior exposure to development (C, Java etc) to be able to understand interfaces

Able to identify the Business scope and on the basis of that able to identify the testing scope and testing scenarios

Understand and articulate the various phases of software testing lifecycle and the phases within it

Test critical functionality of the application by applying different techniques of testing (Functional, GUI, Performance and integration testing)

Exposure to Integration Testing based on SOA projects

Exposure to testing Web Services / APIs with at least 6 months of experience testing SOA Product suites such as Tibco or Web Methods ESB etc

Basic Knowledge of SOA based testing tools like SoapSonar, SOAP UI etc

Create low level test cases from high level test cases with minimal guidance from test lead

Create end to end test scripts with guidance from test lead

Participate in team interactions during test case creation and execution and adhere to processes

Exposure to Defect tracking tools for logging different types of defects including functionality, UI

Basic knowledge of SQL.



B. Nice to have:-



Any prior experience on webservice testing

Test Execution- Automation

Any automation tool exposure with hands-on experience.
