Big-Data Analytics Chief Architect

Role –Full time onsite in Mumbai,

Duration – 30th Oct 2013 – Jun 2014

Will be responsible for

• Solution Architecture of enterprise-wide big data analytics platform in Reliance Jio – 4G Telecom business- across solution areas – HANA and HANA Based Analytics Applications, Sybase, Hadoop, BO.

The relevant person’s profile will have following attributes • Should have architected the solution in very large Analytics program preferably in telecom industry, involving SAP and non-SAP sources.

• Should have good knowledge of SAP HANA and HANA based analytical applications, BusinessObjects, Sybase, BW, Hadoop and ETL.

• Should have very good understanding of SAP’s product roadmap in Big-Data or Real Time Data platform.

• Should have very good connect internally within Global Services, Solution Management and Development teams, so as to design and develop the architecture keeping SAP’s product roadmap in consideration.

• Should be able to qualify and present the use cases of HANA and HANA based applications at Reliance. Should be able to explain the business benefits of big data analytics use cases in telecom language to customer.



Scope:

• Using and further developing with the customer Use Cases for:

o Marketing and Sales,

o Service,

o Billing,

o Network (Including Fulfilment & Assurance), o Finance and Profitability, o Operations.

• Architecting and activating the Big Data Analytics platform and Approach for:

o Operational analytics, aligning with the modules and processes under implementation in core SAP transaction applications.

o Leveraging BusinessObjects Dashboarding and Reporting capabilities.

o Define and prioritise the advanced analytics used cases in telecom big-data.

o Leveraging HANA’s predictive analytics capabilities on big-data generated in non-SAP telecom.

o Executing Agile implementation methodology with multiple sprints during solution development phase for white-spaces.

o By providing an integrated analytics environment of SAP BusinessObjects, SAP HANA and HANA based applications, Sybase IQ, SAP Predictive Analytics, SAP KXEN and SAP BW & BPC on HANA connecting with components of SAP CRM, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing and Customer Financial Management.

o Interfacing with non-SAP applications - Network Data Management, Social Media, Hadoop
