Hi Friends!
We sometimes tend to forget the importance of effective evaluation of a training programme and the kind of enthusiasm and interest which all organizations show for conducting a training programme will be missing when the evaluation of a training programme is concerned.This remains a grey area in every HR department in most of the organizations.
Kirkpatrick's 4-level training evaluation model is an ideal model for effective evaluation of triaing which is being practiced by internationally renowned companies like Lufthansa, Xerox etc.This can be easily adopted for doing proper and effective evaluation of training so that training function in an organization becomes more target oriented without being just confined to records and rituals.
I want to share this "Kirkpatrick's Model of Training Evaluation" which is very useful and provides necessary guidance in designing better training evaluation methods as per our requirement.
