Hi

I have worked from 5th June 2007 to 16 Feb 2012. Due to unavoidable circumstances, I resigned with immediate effect. Somebody told me that it is not necessary for a employee to complet his 5 years tenure in a company for taking benefit of

Gratuity. If he completed his 4.5 years, then it also calcultated as 5 years.

Please clear me that am i eligible for taking benefit of Gratuity?

Thanks in advance.

Raghuvir,

Gratuity is Payable without completion of five years of service only when death and disablement occurs.
