Interview in First Company

Why I am this question is, because one of my friend who went for an interview, it was that company's bad luck that they rejected him in very first interview, despite he was technically good. you can't even imagine kind of questions were asked by that HR manager. following questions were asked to candidate by that HR Manager.

1 About your self?

2 Are you sure that you came for an interview??

4 Are you that you are Executive level professional”

5 present salary??

6 expected Salary?? and

7 Notice period??

Finally he sent him back, saying we ll let you know soon.

Interview in Second Company

Few days after i called up and asked him that, where you are working now?? after listening to his reply i got shocked, he had been hired by INDIA's Top MNC. The reason why i got shoked was that he went in same attire as like as earlier company's interview i.e Jeans and T Shirt without shaving. you know what second company's HR took his first interview were he found ok, sent him for technical interview were they found him excellent in technical skills and finally offered him 100% rise present CTC...

Bottomline is that Who was right first that company HR or second company HR???

Hi every one,

According to me, in the above case its not about the right or wrong , different companies have different policies and ettiquites followed wer in they are more keen and strict in following dat .for eg company like Vodafone they are strict interms of dicipline , wer formal attire is compulsary wer as company like Intel they are differnt they have the leverage of wearing casuals .But that doesnt mean that they are not diciplined, its all the policies what the companies follow. In the above case the Hr should have taken the proper interview and should hav told about the company policy. Its also the candidats responsbility to go in a formal attire for an interview .
