Dear Mr. Chanakya,

OK up to some extinct I ll accept ur feelings. But please note this site is full of persons who are experts in their own fields of HR. Some one in OB, some one in Admin, Some are IR and so on. As HR professional job is linked with community and people you can't supposed to express your feelings reluctantly like many other sites do. We have to think and wisely manage if any such circumstance appears in front of us for which the answer is also will come politely.

Second thing these people not regular and not came for chit chat and controversial by making irrelevant comment on any topic posted. They are busy with their works and share their valuable feelings, suggestions, ideas etc.. in their free time. Thus it is a platform to share them but not involve in controversial responses. Hope you understood.....

Dear Mr. Suneel ,
First of thanks for your reply. The First paragraph of your reply , i can understand to some extent Ok. Justified. The Second para: i am not fully agreed with your views becuase , CONTROVERSY -- here all most all the Articles are related to HR only . What is the Use of sharing a View ? Disscussion between people ? what is the meaning of Brain storming suession's outcome ? My view is that , Unless you share / discuss with other ---Important ( Same Wave-length people ) people to get FEEDBACK on your views right.

But here freedom of expression of professional aspact is not treated as Controvercy . Being a HR SPECILIST , I feel most of the members are using this website as a NEWS BORAD / NEWS okay . I can justify this comment . if you do a study here that . WHICH ARTICLE has most number of viewer's here ? and Note that TOPIC'S ? and its relevancey to HR--FILED , then you can understand about my expression okay.
See i thought of entering this webiste for disscusing NEW HR initiatives and finding to excel the filed . and above all my intention of publishing a book for foreign edition on HR need some indian concept , thats all .
Every year colleages are producing MBA -HR will make the HR filed like this. THATS ALL ,
thanks for your expression.
Take care

Dear Suneel ,
I want to invite your attention to some area of this website . People are Vested interest , only for personal gain , lack of Stage fraightness , Lack of guts to address an issue openly or feerness of address a mass / public , due to lack of confidence in thier ability / on thier views thats is the main reason of silence here. I have done a small attempt here to know the attitude of its members ok . See if you find my Articles -- I have Touched Humourus , sexy , Funny , Untold sexual Harassment to ladys in Company , Liquor , recruitment by consultants defects , etc. All general HR topic , but viewers are very chossey in reading article. If i write an articles titled 10 Sins or Weakness OF an Interviewer in a Selection ? or How to put a NEW O.D technic for company by your own ? then i will get more viewers here. what it shows .
"FACE IS AN INDEX OF YOUR HEART ". India now become land of POLITICIANS , so don't adopt a political mind in HR.
In india HR IS Un -organised field and most people are Egoistic about thier HR , India is India . Made in India , why Indian HR don't have an Indian Technic INSTEAD of opting for KAIZEN --From Japan ? Maxlaws Theory , Jermey Bentham , etc India we don't have any such ADMINISTRATION system in our Histroy , please read Mr:Chanakya's "ARTHASHASTRA" .
Aamandi bahoo nara.
take care.
If you know other HR site where i can get good deabting or discussion forum ? please inform me jobs2012@aol.in
Thanks alot

Hi,

Forums are generally meant for discussions, to share ideas and it's a kind of knowledge transfer also.

people may be busy in their own aspects and i do accept that quite a few feel shy to speak because of communication.

I understand your frustration regarding the need for active members on HRLink and the need for dialogue, for sharing information, opinions.

What did HRLink mean to me?
Years ago, when I found this site thanks to a dear friend and a respectable member of this site, HRLink made me encounter a world outside my profession, but a world I always dreamed of being part of.
I am not a HR professional but I have strong affinities with this field.
I learned so many information on this site, exchanged opinions, debated on interesting topics...and made friends for a lifetime.
It opened my horizon on personal and professional level.
I found myself on this site. It satisfied my need for intellectual conversations, for knowledge. I enjoyed being part of a special community, challenging my mind every time I read a new topic or was asked for an opinion.
It made me feel part of a special world: HR world. It also made me keen on wanting to meet these people who have become my friends, in person.
I've been to India twice since then and I will come again for sure.
I was fortunate enough to meet the people behind this interface, the people working for this site and enabling us to be all here on this platform and benefit from it. An amazing team of dedicate people! A wonderful place to be!

I felt sorry when some of my closest friends and real professionals, members of HRLink stopped being as active as before on this site. For some time I struggled to make them come back here...but in the end I respected their priorities.

It's up to us, all HRLink members, to make this site active, challenging. It's in our power to do it, to exchange valuable information, to give feedback to the topics we find worthy of our time, to share knowledge.

Dear Mr. Chanakya!

Thanks for your reply and due to some busy works Im unabled to view this. Ok I too agree with your feelings that people are not discussing their view up on general topics in this forum. Yes you can see many of viewers respond for sexul sites, and genera discussions at some other sites. But this HR Link is seperate from the other sites as the proffessionals of various levels right from beginers to senior levels participate in this.

Generally juniors look for knowledge in the relevent subject only and the topics related to subject only they respond.Mid and senior level people only respond for the replies or topics posted by them only. This might be the reason you got less viewers to your posts. Now a days all are busy with their works na!

In the global scinario you have to look for the suitability and applicability only and not whether it is Indian or Italian or any other. We have Laloo, Tata's, Birla's and other proffessionals who succeeded with their management policies. You don't deviate the management policies with HR as management policies are internally linked to HR also na!

Hope you agree!

Suneel Kumar Gudipati

I cannot agree more Clauds. I am just indebted to this site for giving me awesome friends who are blend of sensible thinking, sensitively reacting nature and practically guiding each other and always wishing for the best of things to happen in each others' lives.

And I do keep missing all the linked activity we used to involve in. I log out of the site painfully after I fail to see any of the senior members online and available.

Miss those beautiful old days.. Just wishing to see the old magical days again :)
