I am looking for Core HR Jobs but i didnt get it due to my less experience and recruitment profile. Is there really a scarcity of jobs in HR? Everywhere, there seems to be jobs only related to recruitments. I would like to know what is the scope of starting a career with other avenues of HR? Is it available anywhere? Please let me know if there exists any...I am looking for a job in HR in Ahmedabad...

There is nothing like scarcity for Core HR jobs. One should keep trying. Recruitment is a key function of HR and retention always complements this function. If you are giving interview for a recruiter position, express to the Organization that you would like to grow as a Core HR person eventually as that is your career goal. If the Organization is having a big HR department may be they can consider you for a future placement into Core HR role though initially you would be recruited as a Recruiter. Don't lose heart. Keep trying.
