Type: HR, Report if not a HR topic
Posted 15-10-2011Reply
Anyone please give a right solution to fine the Percentage of profit or anything.
Example :
Rs 1000/- i need to calculate 7% on this value.
Method 1 : 1000*7/100 = Rs 70/-
Method 2 : 1000*100/107 = 934.57
= 1000 - 934.57
= Rs 65.43/-
My question is which method is correct and y?
Hi , Please find the below explanation of your que.....
A. To calculate normal % or value
Two type que's are made
1) 7% of 200
2) 7 is what % of 200
Solution:
1)200 * 7 / 100 = 14
2) 7 * 100/ 200 = 3.5
B. To calculate profit
1) If I purchase a pen on Rs. 50 and sold out on Rs. 60 how much profit I got in %.
Solution:
60 - 50 = 10
now 10 is what % of 50
10 * 100/ 50 = 20
so I got 20% profit
2) If I purchase a pen Rs. 20 and want a profit of 30%, on what price I should sell out it.
so calculate 130% of 20
20*130/100 = 26
apart it there are different types que's but I think this explation can ans your ques.
Thanx

Preeti
