Hi Friends
Am into recruitment and we deal for Non-IT.our clients are mostly from paint company.auto ancillary and automobiles.
The problem is,am not able to segregate the industry/sector according to the requirements.I want to gain more knowledge on domains of various sectors.
can u guide me with any link?
When am searching for the candidates, how i have to do the same in job portals ?
In what sector/segment the paint is divided ?
what i should mention in "functional area","area of specialization" and " industry"?
please help me.
Thank You.
Regards,
uma
hi swami
Thanks for replying me.
I don't have the problem in accessing job portal, but am not having sufficient knowledge about the industrial sectors & their sub sectors.
If i don't understand about the industry,i cannot select the correct candidate.
I want to improve my knowledge in different industries especially manufacturing.
please give any link, which gives the entire details about the industries.
Thank u.

Hi Uma,
Experience can only teach you about the domains and the Industries they fall in,You can start up with listing out the functional areas which are mentioned in the Job portals and browse through net for their related synonyms, this can help you out to familiarize with the specific industry and the domain names.
Go through L.M Praseodymium General Management Text book for more clarifications, or you can refer any authour for the subject.
Hope the information is helpful!!! correct me if Iam Wrong:)
