Wonderful initiative...I am sure everybody can find something to give this time of year.
We tend to store so many things in our houses, so many clothes...and we don't even use or wear all of them.
How many times our children grew up so fast that they didn't get the chance to wear some of the clothes we've bought for them?
Let's do at least that, let's share something from heart, let's do a small gesture that might mean so much to these children. They have every right for a decent life, they have every right for living their childhood, they have every right to smile.

Good Idea, what about gifting them books of NCERT, cheap, relevant and most useful.

I think there will be many to give sweets and clothes but its better if we can know about these children and can provide books for the concerned classes.

just a thought don't know can be work out or not....!!!!

celebrate it with style! With our used or unused clothes and gifts packed for this moment and occasion which gift happiness to these kids, don’t we feel like Gods!?

Please donate generously any article which you feel can bestow happiness
and bring smiles to these kids. Just to list –

• Old, used clothes for ages 0 – 14; boys and girls (ensure that the
clothes are in good condition. Do not donate torn or soiled clothes)

• Toiletries like talcum powders, combs, soaps etc.(new)

• Chocolates and plum cup-cakes (Fresh)

• Packed assorted biscuits and sweets (Fresh)

• Slates and slate pencils

• Winter wear (not torn and soiled)

• Packed milk with storage period or shelf life

…… OR anything of your choice!

The collected gifts will be distributed to the children-on-the-streets
on 28.12.2009 evening. We solicit your service and transportation
volunteering also.
