One night a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of Footprints in the sand: one belonging To him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, He looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of His life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very Lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he Questioned the Lord about it:
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow You, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most Troublesome times in my life, There is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied:
"My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering, When you see only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."
When I read your post, I remembered that song. Some times we meet god when we need god's help very badly. There is an incident I never forget.
When we shopped at night in Bangalore, we met an angel. That was a rainy day. We were loss our way in a busy street. Dark, rain, 4 boys and 2 girls. No trishaw driver even looked at us. Then we saw her. Later we came to know that she is living next to our hotel. Though she could go with her husband, she directed us to the bus stand, came with us till her destination and guided us to our hotel. I have seen many beasts in my life but that was a moment I saw god. I understood how we should treat others, when they really need a hand. That angel represented whole India. Whenever we remember that incident, a pleasant expression comes to our mind not only about that lady, but also about India.
If you really believe that the universe power, (or god), you will be able to overcome any bad situation.

We come across angels all through our life in the form of friends and loved ones. They are the ones who show us the way when it is dark and who care for us when we need a shoulder to lean upon.
