Chargeability calculation - Employee

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how the Chargeability is calculated per month or per year for an employee in a sofware company?..

Chargeability means If an employee is in bench, He is not chargeable, If an employee is in Project, He will be chargeable. Ok... The chargeablility is calculated through how long an employee was in project or ( How much employer billed him from the client for being in particular project ).....
So, There are two calculations like mychargeabliity(till date) and total year-to-date chargeability.
Are you clear now...?

Hi Karthi,
For IT salary components majority of the mid size company use this components. (we could use in Some of the Non IT also)
Basic (40% if CTC)
HRA (50% of Basic Pay
Special Allowance
Conveyance (800pm)
Medical Allowance (1250pm)
Project Allowance* (Optional)
Variable Pay* (salaried 5L+ & above in CTC)
This is very simple & effective components. Any mid Size company CTC components for all packages and larger company salaried up to 40Lpa can hold this components without any issues.
