Yes Claudia, even i want to hear on the same topic as gopala krishna is asking u on PSYCHOLOGY. Its one of fav subject i would love to hear ,study and research.
I read many of your replies and should appreciate your enthu towards HR as being a doctor :)

This is a good reference material on body language assessemnt, which is prime important to any HR person.
i am starting my association with hrlink with this posting, which is my first one.
encourage me with +ve inputs and constructive suggestions
I take this opportunity to welcome you to this community and to thank you for being so willing to share valuable information and ask for opinions.
I've read some of the materials you've posted on this topic and surely will read all with great interest.
Non verbal communication is very important and not only for the HR field. I am a doctor and it's said that a good doctor can almost establish the diagnosis by carefully looking at his patient and can also find the best way to approach him/her and to increase the treatment compliance if he's "reading" his patients through their body language.
As for the importance of observing gestures, postures in defining the self-confidence/insecurity, the receptivity/reserved attitude of a person during an interview or in employee-employer relationship, I will let the professionals of this site to comment.
