hi , i have heard about such a program i wanted to know if it would help me understand behaviors. How will this help me professionally and benefit my organization, does it lead to some kind of accreditation?
if any one knows anything about this kind of a program kindly let me know........................ :)
Riya,
Behaviour analysis works from a neurological perspective. Please refer to my earlier post on behaviour v capability profiling. Behaviour is more about what you will do and how you would act react and capability is about the different things that you can do. You are capable of having multiple houses but you can only live at one house at anygiven point of time which is the decision you take ( which is basically behaviour).
Behaviour analysis requires you to clearly understand how the brain would behave. Its more of biology. Most of the tests you see in the domain are binary test. which means you have either a pass or a fail. Behaviour analysis is more of profiling than testing and it operates in the ternary mode. Brain learns through patterns and we use those patterns to act or react to a situation. This gives a more deep rooted understanding about behaviour profiling.. If you want to know more I would request you to visit www.parallaxprofiling.co.uk. If you have further questions ping me...

Hi ,
Jst to give a little brief on why we should use behaviours to understand people.
Behaviours
A Complete System
Computers have manuals—why not people? People are unique and must be managed, coached and supported in a way that capitalizes on their uniqueness. The behavioural reports are designed to assess an individual's strengths and possible limitations and to assist the individual in developing an action plan.
Why Learn About Behaviour?
Learning about a behavioural model will help a person to better understand themselves and others; therefore, enhancing personal and professional relationships. An understanding of behaviour will lead to the accomplishment of the following:
•Increased Understanding of Self
•Increased Understanding of Others
•Increased Communication
•Increased Productivity
•Decreased Tension
Results and Benefits
Proper guidance and direction often spell the difference between success and failure of an employee, a team or an organization.
•Reduce Employee Turnover and New Training Costs
•Show How to Spot Winners
•Establish a Reliable Method for Hiring
•Outlines Personal Strengths and Value to the Organization
Regards
