Senior Manager - Operations

1.Responsible for ensuring availability of infrastructure for the offshore IT operations, and local team management.

2.Set goals for an entire department or division based on the company`s plans

3.Develop & drive new business under management directions.

4.Supervise team leads for ongoing projects and develop weekly and monthly reports for the management review

5.Track effort & milestone for day-to-day deliverables.

6.Build team, strategic client relationships; maintain smooth operations.

7.Oversee a budget and manage effectively P&L responsibilities for the center. Ensure timely delivery with the right quality and within agreed upon timelines.

8.Develop new business opportunities and write proposals & reports on business operations for executive staff

9.Carry out local business development for Tier 1 consulting companies and power companies in India and develop new business development strategies

10.Start a vertical for training and education in Oracle, SAP, .NET and Java

11.Assist organization in achieving CMMI or ISO level certification

12.Manage system administration and network support for entire center

Required Skills:
1.7+ years of proven experience in leading software development teams and building high performance organization aligned with a common strategy

2.5+ years of managing complete operations of a IT organization including infrastructure, solution delivery and business development

3.Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills

4.2+ years of experience in ensuring infrastructure, internet, power etc. availability to a 24 hour operation

5.3+ years of experience in product development or BPO operations and managing US based projects

6.Ability to prioritize work assignments with leadership and tem work ability

7.Ability to work well with all levels of management, executive leadership and support staff.

8.Able to supervise a large staff of middle management and support staff

9.Problem-solving and conflict management

10.Proven experience in managing vendors and ensuring their Service level agreement (SLA) are met

11.Bachelor degree in Engineering or related area from reputed University. An MBA preferred.
