The candidate has to take a lead responsibility in establishing a world-class work-environment in line with Eaton`s Core Values
The individual will play a role as key business partner to the Plant Head and the employees in the areas of employee relations, recruitment, HR policies and hiring strategy and identify young talents and their development. The key thrust area would be build high engagement work-culture, high retention, developing the capabilities of talents etc..
To focus on personnel & IR issues and to maintain cordial relationship and industrial peace. To maintain the Ahmednagar plant a union free environment
The candidate has to manage the administration of Human Resource Policies, programs and practices throughout the plant
Provide advice & guidance to management on employment issues including company policy & procedures, employment legislation and ensuring fair treatment of all employees at all times
Assist with strategic planning and lead organizational development activities for Ahmednagar plant
Works with plant management to plan and implement programs to meet human resource requirements supporting short-term and long-term business needs
Assures an effective performance management process is utilized for all employees and deployed effectively as per the Corporate guidelines
Proposes a competitive wages for the Trainees based on the market survey and industries trend
Assures compliance to all statutory laws as applicable to the manufacturing unit
Implement deploy effective safety programs in the organization as per Eaton EHS guidelines
Establish procedures for disciplinary actions to maintain organizational code of conduct
Provide inputs/feedback on process and program requirements and initiatives to improve HR operational excellence
Represent and defend (with/ without external consultants), the organization in all labour court cases
Develop and implement company training program in support of all Departments and also adhere to the Master training plan deployed as per VG Auto guidelines
Drive Succession planning, performance management, employee development and retention initiatives for the young talents in the shop floor
Develop and implement recruiting and hiring programs to meet manpower requirements
Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton`s Philosophy and Values
Develop and maintain systems for employee performance review
Establish and maintain close ties with Eaton India HR Managers

Solid understanding of HR regulatory compliances required for an EOU plant

MPM with hard core plant HR experience
