Thomson Reuters, Bangalore 3–6 Yrs Share this jobAt both the strategic and tactical level, the Executive Compensation Analyst will work closely with other compensation team members providing analytical and operational support for global initiatives with a focus on Executive Compensation and programs.
Responsibilities include administering compensation systems and programs, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness of compensation data, and providing education regarding compensation policies and practices.
This role will contribute to large projects and may also manage smaller stand alone projects or reviews.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide deep analytical support for the HR Committee meeting material related to all executive compensation matters, including market pricing, short and long term incentive valuations, etc.
Provide analytical support for the preparation of proxy materials
Collect, analyze and summarize compensation data to facilitate management decisions and support global initiatives.
Provide advice to HR Advisors and managers on functional matters or on the interpretation of reward policies and practices.
Respond to compensation related inquiries and coordinate the dissemination of information.
Participate in salary surveys and ensure compliance with compensation regulations and requirements.
Evaluate current reward programs to ensure competitive position within the marketplace.
Monitor relevant systems to ensure integrity of compensation data. Initiate and facilitate data updates and fixes: submit change requests, liaise with system administrators and/or third party vendors, communicate status, and follow through with all involved parties until updates are completed or resolution is achieved.
Look for opportunities to simplify or enhance operational processes and workflow within the compensation team.
Assist with the preparation of executive summaries and presentations, and support the compensation team on day-to-day issues and special projects.Qualifications Required:
Bachelor`s degree with minimum 3 years of previous compensation or professional related work experience.
Proficient with HR database queries (e.g. PeopleSoft) and general knowledge of Human Resources functions or disciplines.
Proven analytical and quantitative skills. Must be able to evaluate a variety of data, determine validity, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Subject matter expert in the area of Executive Compensation
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and ability to approach assignments strategically and manage to completion.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to work on many tasks concurrently.
Effective communicator at all levels. Must be customer service driven with a focus on delivering accurate and timely results.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft business applications with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel (must be proficient with pivot tables, V-look-ups, and other functions and formulas for data analysis and reporting).
Highly Desired:
Experience and/or exposure to executive compensation plans, including understanding of stock options, restricted stock, and employee stock purchase plans.
Operations experience with equity administration systems and reporting tools.
Acquired credential or working towards an HR professional certification, e.g., Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
