My parents,relatives scold me for not going to temple and doing all pujasas we are from a rituous family,but i do not do.I too believe in helping others which would reach directly to God.

Help the needy in this mechanical world.people do not smile even thats the strangest thing I have noticed.

Gratuity is given oout of gratitude for a long service rendered by the employee to the organisation so it is from the pocket of the employer.No deductions from employee towards gratuity is done.The formla which you gave is correct .

Suppose a person has completed 5yrs 7 months of service and is retiring then the gratuity amount will be givn for 6 yrs.Similarly if it is 5.5 yrs the gratuity is for 5 yrs.

Hi alok according to my knowledge,a person covered under ESIC act is not covered under workman's compensation Act.The % contribution is
1.75%-employee
4.75%-employer

So a person not under ESIC act will be covered under workman's Compensation Act and will be provided with the facilities given y different companies in different percentages.
