Hey Diana,
The method i mentioned cannot be implemented when you are not working with consultants.I understand thats a major draw back :).
As you have said, true there will be an impact in the different angle with the consultants spoon feeding their candidates.All methods have pros and cons and this task is really challenging to have true feedbacks.
You may also try interacting wit the candidates through the mail for a feedback.As this not being a personnel interaction with the candidates, they may feel free in expressing their concerns if any.Again a trial n error method :)

True as you said we need an excellent rapport with the consultants for this. They can be a good source for us in mplementing the ideas like what Diana is thinking of.
Personal experience - many a times i have good some frank opinions through my consultants from the candidate.I have always requestd my consultants to talk to the candidates after the rounds of the inetrview.This way the consultant also has an update abt their respective candidate and also some interaction with the candidate to keep them active.

Hi Samir,
That's a good thought, but again not really fruitful.I have tried this with my candidates as I have also co ordinated n arranged for the interviews.The candidates with high experience only quite a few respnod but they do not give their feedback clearly.As I will still be connected with the company, the candiadte is attending the interview with.candidates with the lesser exeprience will be hesitant to be honest.
I feel it can be best implemented through a third party like a consultant.

This one is a good topic.... If I have not mistaken you would like to implement a process for a feedback wholely about the interview with a thought of improvising the interview process for both the interviewer and the candidate. As Neil and Samir say this becomes a challenge to have a frank opinion form the candidate and it may not yield the results in the perspective you wish to see.
We need to think of methods to implement this.One way I could think of was to implement through your consultants.If you have consultants headhunting the candidates for you, probably they can interact with the candidate after the interview and put the questions to them you have listed.
By this method, this may not lead the candidate to wonder if they r eveluating the interviewer because the consultant is just a liasion between the company and the candidate. Again this is a trail and error.
