hi alok,
Greetings of the day,
yes,no doubt wat rest of the members have suggested is certainly going to benefit u and is mandatory.... but apart from all these things i would suggest you to understand the difference between the recruitment and selection.
The qualifications etc can get u into the interview room but wat will help u get the appointment letter is "x factor" that is explicitly found in few poeple and i.e. "Soft skills".Dont forget to focus on your soft skills when u are being interviewed by the interview panel.
Be optimistic,confident and true.
Good Luck...May God Bless You
Regards
Preeti

hi,
i can read a very true picture of a HR professionals being presented by you shiny.
no doubt we as a HR dpt is considered to be the "Service dpt" and vn the services are not fulfilled the employees are forced to say HR as useless&jerks. but i think its the management who gives less power to the HR dpt and then we are "used-less=useless".... n usually it happens in companies where the management is lenient & expect HR to just provide services. if powers are delegated properly by management and HR starts acting as a strategic business partner and align organisational goals to the HR goals, this name of ours(useless & jerks) can be very soon erased.
