If am in such situation , first i will understand the company position and will try to trace whether the situation is really bad or VP is playing games with Employees.
Then i will decide what to do. If position of the company is really bad then i will definetly work there and i will try to give best results to the company and also will motivate the team to work there if they are intrested .
If he/she is palying games with employees then i will quit the job and will try to teach him what is an employee power.
