Naga,
Unfortunately this story doesn't fit in "Team work". On the top of it in order to survive in competition we must have a strategy, and strategy is not one person's domain.
Cheers

Hey Naga,
Excellent article on hiring process. I agree with most of your points and logic. Interestingly, I feel sad to know when I hear that most of the people in responsible positions to hire are not at all trained on these skills and one fine morning they get up to interview a bulk of candidates and we all see the results.
I strongly advocate to provide trainings to Managers who are responsible for hiring the right candidate.
Our organization is also providing such trainings and people have benefited from these. We normally use Thomas Profiling and a lot of case studies and role plays in Interview and Selection skill trainings.
One important point which is missing is to design the right questions, which we all fail to prepare as homework.
Cheers
