Guys..I am really taken by surprise with the kind of response this topic has got..though job hopping is a old and contradicting concept, it was not accepted in India previously. Because Indians always look for job security and stability in life...
Ofcourse an employee is by the same word even today, but, the real surprise for me is the positive responses from HR people like us. Because an HR is always considered about keeping the attrition levels low and an HR is the only poor guy who thinks about loyalty, ethics....
Is it that the HR or management is slowly accepting job hopping????
If it is so,I think soon we are going to see a new wave where every body is into contract for a period of 6 months and moves on to nxt job the moment his project is completed here (like the western job concept)
I would be more interested on how an experienced HR reacts to this concept compared to the younger generations.

Mr. Dilip,
Thank you for your post and I am really sorry to say this.
The responses to any forum depends upon the quality of discussions the members post.I myself used to be a active member of this forum before, but now a days if we look at any of the discussions posted here, most of them are just CCP from Google and they are not pretty interesting too.
And one more thing, daily when I Login to this forum early in the morning, I find 20-30 pings, out of which more than 80% of them will be from a single person. I find myself just skipping them and in the process I miss few good ones too.
So, a small request to all the HRLink members is to please kindly post some relevant and good quality topics which would be useful. And if possible try to post our day to day queries or problems we face.

Hi Rekha,
A generalist profile generally doesn't include recruitment and now a days T & D is also considered as separate department.

Hi Archana,Harish,Naga,Diana,
Thank you for your valuable replies. I appreciate the kind of replies you have posted.
I was thinking of something else,(Donno how far will it be success or possible).
Is there any chance of creating a repository kind of thing, in which every possible HR personnel can post a feedback (only on certain issues like Honesty, his ethical behavior... on all the employees who had left their organization???
The repository may contain a questionnaire or a form which can derive all required data regarding an employee.
Any other thoughts on these lines are appreciable.
